BMW Advanced Diesel to debut late in 2008

BMW of Orland Park is scheduled to launch two new Advanced Diesel products this year in the United States. The first will be a 335d in October and the second will be a X5 3d, both will be released as model year 2009's. The Advanced Diesels will have Blue Performance and will be available in all 50 states. The engines will be a 3.0-liter inline six with Variable Twin Turbo Technology and 265-hp. What is even more impresive is that they will develope 425 lb-ft of torque at just 1,750 rpm.
